Indications:
- To be used immediately in a life threatnening allergic reaction
- Suggestion to use epinephrine auto injector as primary solution for fast administeration
- Suggestion to use vials in biphasic reaction
- Not intended to treat seasonal allergies
Epinephrine (Adrenalin) is the most important drug in emergency medicine.
It is the drug of choice in the management of the acute (life-threatening) multisystem allergic reaction, anaphylaxis.
Epinephrine is valuable in managing both the respiratory and cardiovascular manifestations of acute allergic reactions, as well as providing a degree of vasoconstriction that can be helpful in the presence of edema.
